Dera Rawatsar was built in 1949 as the Rawatsar family's home in Bani Park, and the food still comes from that household. The recipes are the family's own. The cook is Bhagwan Singh, who has
run the kitchen since 2008, which makes him one of the longest-serving people at the hotel.
There is one restaurant, with three ways to sit: the indoor dining hall, an outdoor area, and tables by the pool. Breakfast is included with every room. Lunch and dinner are served at set times, and an all-day menu covers the hours in between.
